During Innovation Days at Aarhus University, Herning, 24-25 August, a large number of students took a closer look at how to make KK Wind Solutions’ corporate identity live and interact with the world outside the company.
568 students from 12 colleges attended the event at AU Herning. Sixteen companies, including KK Wind Solutions, sponsored the event at which the students focused on idea generation/innovation, business generation, concept development and presentation techniques.
Innovation Days is one of the largest innovation events created by university students for college students and the general purpose of the event is to bridge the educational institutions with business life as well as inspire more young people to become entrepreneurs – and of course strengthen the relationship between the universities and the youth programmes.
As part of the sponsorship to Innovation Days, KK Wind Solutions provided a case for the students to work with – namely how to best interact with young people with an interest in deep technical knowledge with the aim of co-creating sustainable energy solutions.
KK Wind Solutions had a couple of representatives present at the event and acted as judge in the competition among the students when they presented their solutions to the case.
“It was a pleasure to meet the young, engaged people and get their input for how to reach and engage with target groups such as themselves. Their input provided food for thought, and some of it will serve as inspiration for our efforts connecting with students going forward,” says Carina Britorn Vestergaard, Marketing & Communication Manager, KK Wind Solutions.
