Team Rynkeby is a Nordic charity cycling team who cycle to Paris every summer to raise money for children with cancer.
In 2015, Team Rynkeby raised DKK 48.1 million in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and the Faroe Islands. The 32 Danish cycling teams contributed with DKK 32.8 million. This year the team begins its 15th trip to Paris with 37 events in 35 cities in six different countries on four different days.
Team Rynkeby Midt-Vest start up their bikes from Herning heading for Paris on Saturday 9 July.
On a typical day, the team leaves the hotel at 8:00 in the morning after having been briefed. Food stocks are placed every 60 kilometres – i.e. normally there are 2-3 food stocks per day. Around 17:00, the team arrives at the hotel after which the team members clean the bikes, wash their clothes, shower and meet for dinner.
